Technical Sales Manager

Le poste

  • Representing the group with the customer;
  • Preparation of the basic concept study, basic layout, technical specifications;
  • Budget calculation, validation of material and study cost estimates and risk meetings;
  • Price calculation in agreement with the Sales Director;
  • Presentation and technical defense of the project to the customer;
  • Analysis and clarification of customer documents and specifications;
  • Forwarding information and sending documents and specifications to colleagues and any partner companies involved in the project;
  • Holding regular project discussions / negotiations with customers and consortium members and documenting meeting outcomes;
  • Actively supporting the project by applying the Quality Gates Method with the Project Manager Sales;
  • Compliance with requirements of the overall sales project;
  • Holds the right to allocate the project budget (Bid Budget) as approved up to the next stage;

Exigences

Minimum education required: Master's degree (Industrial or Civil Engineer) with eight years of experience in Technical Sales for complex plant manufacturer companies.

Minimum knowledge, skills, experience and abilities required:

  • Proven track record of closing high-value technical sales
  • Solid knowledge of Industrial furnace and heat treatment technologies
  • Knowledge of applied thermodynamics and the physico-chemical behavior of gases;
  • Able to anticipate, structure, organize and work in a team;
  • Ability to analyze things from a globally perspective (helicopter view);
  • Able to set and manage priorities and are resistant to stress;
  • Customer oriented; you are autonomous;
  • Commercial skills aiming to identify competitive solutions,
  • Perfect command of English and French (spoken and written);
  • Excellent command of MS Office and the ability to learn other software developed or used by the company
  • Familiarity with drawing tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, etc.) is not required but considered an asset.
