Project Engineer - Casting Activity

In this context The Company is recruiting a Project Engineer in Liège..

What will your responsibilities be?

You will join the Casting department, which is responsible for developing new continuous casting concepts that enable the production of steels with unique properties.

• You will develop and monitor research projects in the field of continuous casting/solidification
• You will work on the design/transformation of casting equipment in collaboration with the Engineering department (mechanical/refractory)
• You will be responsible for testing a hydraulic model simulating continuous casting and evaluating the results.
• You will organise pilot or industrial site trials in collaboration with teams in the field in Belgium or abroad.

Who are you?

• You are an experienced electrical/mechanical engineer.
• You have experience in equipment design and implementation as well as project management.
• You are proactive and have good listening and communication skills, enabling you to work in a team and manage projects.
• You have knowledge of Inventor/AutoCAD and/or MATLAB/Simulink.
• You are fluent in French and English. Spanish is a plus.
