Industrial Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer you are responsible for the execution of our projects, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions (mechanical, structural, piping, civil).

You need to carry out the following duties:

• Having close contact with the client to identify the customer needs
• Determine the conceptual design in consultation with the client & team
• Leading the engineering phase of the project
• Giving instructions to team members such as Designers and CAD Engineers
• Organize and lead 3D reviews with the client, technical and commercial procurement meetings
• Manage contractors during on-site deliveries and installation

Role in the organization

Usually the role of a Project Engineer is fulfilled by an experienced Project Engineer that has knowledge of leading a team of Designers and/or CAD engineers. The project engineer knows exactly the steps that need to be taken for having a good outcome of a project. He/she is in close contact with the Project Manager, key officers and chain partners.

Software knowledge

• Interpretating 2 & 3D design models (piping, structural, mechanical, civil)
• You have definitely an advantage if you have experience with the following programs:
  • M365: MS Projects, Teams, SharePoint, outlook, Excel
  • 3D design: Inventor, Plant 3D, Advance Steel, Revit, Navisworks, Recap, CadWorx, Caesar II, Bricscad
